Pattaya Rotary Club Donates Books to School - Pattaya People
On Wednesday morning at the Khao Poe Tong School, located near the Mabprachan Reservoir, the Pattaya Rotary Club, led by its President Mr. Jamlong Passara brought 500 books to donate to the school. The Assistant Director of the Primary Level Education Office of Chonbburi, Mr. Supamit Si-ra-gan-ta-ma-goon, received the books on behalf of the school, and the school’s Principal Mrs. Nopawan Koen-sue made the Welcoming speech.
This donation of books is done every year by the Pattaya Rotary Club. The plan this year is to aid the Khao Poe Tong and Boonsampan Schools, and the Chaimongkon Nursery, to help improve the students’ reading skills and IQ, and to encourage Thai kids to read more, as the statistics seem to indicate that Thai students do not read enough.
