Wayward Monk Arrested in Bangpra - Pattaya People

Bangpra police were notified on Friday evening that a monk was seen in an intoxicated state near a local flyover.  Officers went to investigate and indeed found the monk in a very drunken state with an empty bottle of whisky nearby and a bag filled with pornographic material.   On further investigation, monks at a nearby temple stated that he had been banned from staying with them because of his drunken behavior.  He was handed over to the abbot for punishment and possible expulsion from the monkhood.
