Both Pattaya and Banglamung police are to set up an investigation after an investigating officer from Klongton Police station made a complaint against the police stating that his 15 year old son had been physically assaulted by police officers in a raid at his house early last week. Apparently the police, who claimed they were from Pattaya, had searched the wrong house and came across the home alone boy and according to him he was beaten up and handcuffed, and in so doing caused grief and suffering for the officer’s family. When neighbours came to the rescue and told the men that the house belonged to a police officer, they immediately released the boy and called the officer to apologise. However, the officer filed a complaint at both Banglamung and Pattaya Police stations about the incident and so a full investigation is now underway.
