Traffic Problems during Vegetarian Festival - Pattaya People

This long weekend holiday in Pattaya has been extremely busy, especially with the buildup of heavy traffic on all major highways in and out of town, causing problems for traffic police and motorists alike.  Even more so the traffic was heavy in Naklua where the Vegetarian festival was on in full swing with many tourists and day trippers from out of town coming along to enjoy the food and entertainment festivities at the Sawang Boriboon Foundation.  Not only the food festival but also people flocked into Pattaya to celebrate and pay their respects on Chulalongkorn Day on Tuesday 23rd October, to commemorate the passing of Rama V in 1910. One thing for sure this long holiday certainly boosted the local economy.
