Few Tourists Hazard the Beach on Rainy Days - Pattaya People

On Wednesday, many beach operators complained that the bad weather during the past few days prompted the tourists to back off from the sand and surf. Of course, this affected the beach operators’ incomes, as they are accustomed to earning some 5,000 Baht per day, but during the soggy weather, they were only making half of that.  Due to storms blowing in to Pattaya from the central, East and North East regions of Thailand, plus squalls from the Andaman Sea in the South, the incessant rain and wind made tourists afraid to swim in the sea or even romp along the beach.

The operators have accepted their fate for the time being, and believe that as soon as the sun comes out, there will be plenty of visitors along Pattaya’s shoreline.
