One Iraqi and Three Algerians Arrested For Theft - Pattaya People

The Pattaya Police by the Superintendent Pol. Col. Tammanoon Mankong held a press conference to announce the arrest of 1 Iraqi Mr. Koir Qader Salih Salih, aged 42, who was the leader of a gang of thieves, and his 3 Algerian accomplices Mr. Sofiane Rim, aged 27, Mr. Zine Eddine Hadjam, aged 31 and Mr. Sobear Asow, aged 39 These crooks were detained with a I Pad, 9 mobile phones, 2 digital cameras and fake passports.

The Pattaya Police Superintendent Pol. Col Tammanoon Mankong revealed that many hotel managers have made similar complaints about thefts in their hotels, which pointed to this gang. So, the Police were able to successfully trace this bunch of hooligans, after they discovered that Koir was the leader from the CCTV videos in many hotels.

Koir confessed to promoting himself from a tour business owner for 12 years to the head honcho of this gang, when tourism declined. As he could speak Thai fluently, and with the help of fake passports from his gangster pals Sofiane and Zine, he managed to check into many small and medium sized accommodations to stay and wait for good opportunities to steal.

They were sent for legal proceedings as soon as the press conference was finished, and will be brought out for identification by anyone who suspects this gang for any other robberies.
